I have always maintained that I am a life-long amateur in photography and have constantly been exploring various media and techniques. Much of my photos have been taken on trips or at family galleries. I started getting interested in techniques for editing and retouching photos as a draftee in the U.S. Army, which provided a fully equipped darkroom and overnight eight hour shifts to play around with it. With a switch to colour, this became harder or more expensive to do. Now with digital tools, I am back to having fun in the “darkroom”.
I have also edited a bit of video over time, starting with editing on VSH, which is a real bore, and then on to 8mm cassettes, which were easier. Some of this video was shot underwater on some of our dive trips. Currently digital video editing looks like an exciting and doable job.
This site features some of our recent photos and some of the photos from past trips and family gatherings. Enjoy and, if you wish to leave a comment, please do so on the Comments Page.
